Gladiatior's musings in deathI knew as the sword flashed crimson in the sunlight I had lost, that I was dead, that it was all over. I stumbled forward, spewing blood from my mouth as well as the wide, retching hole in my stomach. I had lost, for the first time in my career- a short 6 month career- but, sadly, it wasn’t the sort of career that let you learn from your mistakes.
